Neighborhood Pickup Schedule

50 by 30 is an initiative of Recycle Floyd County to reach a goal of 50% of households in the county recycling by 2030.  Funded by a grant from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, we’re expanding access to the county’s recycling facilities by establishing neighborhood and area drop off centers on a bi-weekly schedule.

Recycle Floyd County operates a drop-off center at 3005 Grant Line Road Tuesday-Saturday (and every Wednesday at the Galena Digital Library). To give you greater access to recycling, we’re staging bi-weekly collection sites in 6 neighborhoods, and creating 4 hubs designed to serve an additional 33 neighborhoods.

Our goal is to make it more convenient for you to drop off your recyclable materials, including corrugated, paper, plastic bottles, glass jars, and metal and aluminum cans.  You can see the schedule below.

Let’s work together to get Floyd County recycling!
