Floyd County is home to some of the most avid recyclers anywhere. We are grateful for our community’s strong support for recycling and believe that 2024 will be our best year yet.

That said, we have experienced a handful of occurrences where patrons have come after hours at our North Annex site at 3005 Grant Line Road and at the Galena Digital Library and simply left bags of recyclables and electronics outside the gate or outside the locked bins. This is not acceptable behavior.

We respectfully request that all patrons visit our locations during regular business hours, for recycling improperly disposed of is litter.
